Location photography: Let's go out to the real world to find some place that helps to reflect the personality of the dancer or to match the energy level of the dance form. Location photography often brings a richness and depth missing inside a studio or stage.
In Studio
In studio photography: Capturing the best of your dance studio for use on your website, brochure or advertising. Not only will it reflect your stuio's work beautifully, there is a real benefit: my partnership alongside a studio's web redesign has increased their enrollment by 30%.
Recitals & Backstage
Backstage photography: This is very much photo-journalistic: being at the right place, at the right time, with the right camera settings!
It was one of the most challenging photographic situations. Dim lighting contrasted by strong spotlights, in addition to fast and accomplished dancers, pushed my cameras’ abilities to the limit. In the end, what matters most is that we captured important moments in a person’s life. All the technical stuffs just fade away!
